Located in a peaceful, rural area surrounded by farm fields with open views of the Rocky Mountain Front range to the west, the buttes, bluffs, and Big Belt Mountains to the south, and the Highwood Mountains to the east. Sitting atop the “Sunny Slope” 12 miles west of Fairfield, 50 miles WNW of Great Falls, 14 miles NE of Augusta, and 15 miles S of Choteau.
Close to Freezout Lake, a waterfowl preserve that is world renowned for bird hunting and watching. In the spring and fall, from the guesthouse you can see literally thousands of Swans, Snow geese, and Canadian geese winging their way to and from the lake and resting in the nearby fields.
Also close to hundreds of miles of trails in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Scapegoat Wilderness, Lewis and Clark National Forest, and on the way to Glacier National Park.
