Close to Freezout Lake, a waterfowl preserve that is world renowned for bird hunting and watching. In the spring and fall, from the guesthouse you can see literally thousands of Swans, Snow geese, and Canada geese winging their way to and from the lake and resting in the nearby fields.
Also close to hundreds of miles of trails in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Scapegoat Wilderness, Lewis and Clark National Forest, and on the way to Glacier National Park.
